WeinhausTbilisi
Qvevri amber, candlelight and warm hospitality — a small room in Prenzlauer Berg given over to the wines of Georgia.
Our Story
The little sister of Restorani Tbilisi
Right next door to the restaurant you will find the Weinhaus Tbilisi — small, personal, and given over to Georgian wine. Traditional qvevri wines, characterful ambers, the classics of the country, and a shelf of Georgian spirits beside them. Stay for a glass in the quiet of the room, or take your favourite bottle home with you.
Welcome to the Weinhaus Tbilisi — the world of Georgian wine, in Berlin.

What We Pour
Qvevri amber, Kakhetian red, and a chacha to finish
Around twenty Georgian wines on the list at any time, most of them from the Mildiani family winery in Kakheti — by the glass or the bottle.
- Saperavi
- Deep, dark and Georgia's great red
- Rkatsiteli
- Crisp white, the country's oldest vine
- Kindzmarauli
- Naturally semi-sweet, from Kakheti
- Chacha
- The grape spirit, poured after dinner

The Bottles
One family winery, eight thousand years of practice
Nearly everything on our shelves comes from Mildiani in Kakheti — Saperavi and Mukuzani from the red side, Tsinandali and Rkatsiteli from the white, and the amber qvevri wines that are fermented in clay buried to the neck in the ground, the way Georgians have made wine since before anyone was counting. Tell us what you usually drink and we will find you the Georgian answer to it.

The Room
Tables in the middle, walls of wine all round
A handful of tables under the lamps, the long one down the centre when a party takes it, and bottles from floor to ceiling on every side. Small enough to fill up on a good evening, and close enough to the shelves that you can get up and choose the next bottle yourself.

Private Events
Take the room for the evening
Birthdays, company dinners, farewells, christenings, a tasting with friends — the long table and the tables either side of it seat up to 24. Ring us and we will put the evening together with you: which wines to open, what to eat with them, and how long you would like the room.
Give us a few days’ notice if you can — for a full room, the earlier the better.
